Grilling (Best for Flavor): If frozen: Cook over low heat for 2–3 minutes to defrost slightly, then increase to medium heat. If thawed: Grill over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
Pan-Frying: If frozen: Place the loukanika in a pan over low heat, cover, and let them thaw for about 5 minutes. Then, increase to medium heat and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally. If thawed: Fry in a lightly oiled pan over medium heat for 6–8 minutes until golden brown.
Oven: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the frozen loukanika on a baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through. If thawed, reduce cooking time to 15–20 minutes.
Boiling: Place frozen loukanika in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10–12 minutes, then drain.
